When I started All things Social, I imagined it to be a place where I could drop thoughts about the crazy world of digital marketing mixed in with my own personal observations about other social things...things like Wine, food and friends :)
So even better when all of these things collide in one post!
Had a great dinner tonight with a former client and now friend, Alex Boras. Alex used to work on the IBM biz at Neo, and is now selling for Brightroll.com
We had some great Barbaresco at UVA (http://www.yelp.com/biz/uva-new-york) on the Upper East Side, and chatted about IBM, CNET, Digital Ad selling/Buying, and the excitement and challenges of working at a Start-Up in New York.
I now return to waiting for my son to show up and change my social life :)
Eek! The competition is heating up! But glad your voice has re-entered the discussion. It's early days in social media marketing (and digital marketing as a whole). The more we share our insights and mistakes, the quicker this medium will grow to its full potential.
