BYOW (bring your own wine)

We found a local restaurant that now has a Sunday and Monday $0 Corkage fee.

It is a nice little brasserie on the Upper East Side called Brasserie Julien

Kudos to them for encrouaging the locals to dig into their wine cellars and enjoy a nice meal

We pulled out a wonderful Sancerre and a stellar Silver Oak (2005) for the night...ahhhhh

Since then, we have had a greater variety of regulars and new patrons coming back because they were finally able to taste some of their favorite vintages without paying $500 for it.
