So fresh and So clean
About 6 weeks ago, we made a decision at Digg that the new site would not have 728*90 leaderboards and we would only have one IAB ad unit on each page (300*250).
We also decided that we would do away with Slider units on the home page (those annoying units we loathe as users and then suddenly loved as sellers?? WTF?)
As you can imagine, this news was met with a bit of trepidation by our staff.
With banner CTR's hovering around 0.1%, I have to believe we are making the right choice.
We know our Digg ad products click through 10-100x better than that...so now we just need to convince all of our partners that we can all do much better if we work together..
fun times ahead!
