I think the Discovery Channel may be behind this!

This is starting to smell strangely like a genius marketing promotion for the Discovery Channel's Shark Week!

In all seriousness, I frequent the waters around Martha's Vineyard and the Cape and this is certainly unnerving for many people out there on their summer vacation.

Some of the shark's have been seen within 100 yards of the beach in the white water...I always feel much safer in the white water, but yowsa!

Let's just hope the feared Sharktopus doesn't show up
